    About the Designer
    Juan Urtubey, the President and Creative Director of J Urtubey, is the son of an art dealer father and a fashion icon mother. Naturally, his passion for high style started at a young age. After studying International Business and Relations at UADE, Universidad Argentina De La Empresa, he ventured into the fashion world serving as a Financial Planner for Marithe & Francoise Girbaud and Calvin Klein in Argentina.
    Juan’s fondness for travel began when he served as the international buyer for Wal Mart in Brazil and Argentina and traveled extensively throughout Asia. After moving to Miami in 1994, he began designing a high‐end furniture line, eventually opening his showroom “Earth”. As he mastered the art of creating furniture, Juan expanded his interests to interior design. Today, Juan owns an impressive roster of luxury hotels and acclaimed restaurants.
    The designer has extended his focus and creative energy to include, J Urtubey, a contemporary menswear line that reflects both his international lifestyle and his passion for design. His eponymous brand is designed for the established sophisticate who appreciates art, music and fashion.

    YOUNG HOLLYWOOD CARES COLLECTION
     
    NEW YORK, NY – This fall, Stuart Weitzman has teamed-up with young Hollywood to raise money for ovarian cancer. Scarlett Johansson, Hayden Panettiere, Olivia Palermo and Michelle Trachtenberg worked with Stuart to each co-design a footwear style from which proceeds will benefit Dr. Marsha Moses’ pioneering research in ovarian cancer at the Folkman Institute in Boston, MA.
     
    The Stuart Weitzman Young Hollywood Cares Collection will be available exclusively in late August at www.stuartweitzman.com and the following Stuart Weitzman flagship boutiques: New York (Madison Avenue & 5th Avenue), Beverly Hills (Rodeo Drive) and Chicago (Michigan Avenue).
